1977 Cape Dory 25 Hull CPDE0546M77H Call 804 746 8406 This boat is a very nice ready to sail away Cape Dory 25. I have owned her since 2008. This is not a project boat; she is in sail away condition. Legendary Cape Dory quality, this boat has a full lead keel encapsulated in the fiberglass hull and tiller steering. Great for the Chesapeake Bay as the draft is only 3 feet. Wonderful day sailer or family cruiser. Original anchor and chain, swim ladder. The outboard is a like new 2007 Mercury 6 HP that has been faithfully maintained for reliability and little used, with two gas tanks. Also included is an identical 2002 outboard for parts. The foresail is a Schaefer furler installed in 2006. The main is in good condition and around 15 years old. The winches are Harken self-tailing and are a joy to use. She sails herself with a Raymarine auto tiller which makes single handing easy. Also installed is a Raymarine depth gauge. The compass is a high quality Aquameter Prestige Class. The cabin is trimmed in the original teak which is in good condition. Original, but recovered, quarter berth cushions are included, the v berth has no cushion. In the galley the original Origino alcohol stove is in good working order, and under the companionway steps is a huge ice box. The head has been removed. Included, but not installed, is the original teak cabin table and folding door. The VHF marine radio is a Standard. New bilge pump in 2010. The Bimini is between 15 and 20 years old and needs repair (sew in a new clear panel and a couple of patches and it should be good for about 5 more years). We removed the Bimini every fall and some summers sailed without it. The stainless-steel frame is still perfect. The outside teak trim could be brightened up, the previous owner redid all the outside trim in Cetol in 2007. The teak rub rail is damaged in a couple of spots. The boat has been pulled, scraped and bottom painted four times since I have owned it, it is now due again. All the lights work. The electrical system consists of a location for two batt See Ad
