Voyager Nicol Trimaran 50 Located In Hawaii, Plenty Of Cabin Space! This Trimaran is a vintage, custom-built Hedley Nicol trimaran (Voyager design), a proven bluewater cruiser that is both spacious and comfortable, with amenities for overnight charter or liveaboard. The cockpit should comfortably seat about 12 and the spacious decks will accommodate about another 24. This Trimaran's cruising accommodation is about 12, including a double V-berth forward with private head, vanity, hot shower, and ample stowage, plus 4 spacious double berths on the wing decks curtained with ample stowage. There is also a second head and vanity area in Stbd. float (Ama) and a 3rd vanity area in the Port. float (Ama) The spacious main saloon provides ample seating, dining for 6 at the teak double-drop-leaf table. This can also convert to sleep an additional 3 in single berths if needed. The large open-counter galley has a Force 10, 3-burner oven/range, Isotherm refrigerator freezer, and generous stowage for food and supplies. The vessel carries about 125 gallons of potable water. She has a full 6' 6" headroom throughout and is well-ventilated by overhead hatches and 10 opening bronze ports. The aft cabin is functional as a workshop with access to an engine room. Powered by a Perkins 4-236, 85 HP, diesel engine. There are stack packs for both main and mizzen sails. This vessel also has bow and stern rollers. Two 400 wind generators. Two 164 Solar panels with 300 W inverter. Raymarine multi-functional: GPS/Radar/Depth Draft per seller is 4ft 6" sitting in water. She was Edelstein's 3rd Tri, purposed to be his young family's cruise and charter business adventure to the Caribbean, South Pacific, and Hawaii. She's a proven world-class cruiser, safe, spacious, comfortable, and with all the conveniences of a family liveaboard. She has been extremely well maintained, is fully equipped, and charter ready. As a party boat, on deck she will comfortably accommodate over 30 guests (originally USCG certified for 38). The aft cabin is a functional, fully tooled, workshop with fwrd access to the engine room, battery banks, and fuel. The hull is composite, "Cold Molded" (fiberglass over wood), double diagonal w/ horizontal sandwich on the main hull and double diagonal on the Floats (Amas). Over the years, extensive hull renewal has been professionally implemented from stem to stern, keelson to 3' above the waterline. Dimensions Overall: 50' LOA, 48' LOD, 24' Beam, 4'6" Draft , Displacement is 22,426 lbs., gross tonnage 23 Tons., Last surveyed: 2/25/2021 She has an upgraded Hydrodynamic keel designed by Antrim Associate and a redesigned Spade Rudder. Combined they greatly improve steerage, pointing, maneuverability, and reduced leeway. She is powered by a Perkinshp) Diesel with lots of spare parts. Her reduction and reverse gear is a Borg-Warner, 2-1 Ratio, hydraulic (rebuilt 3/2019). She sports a 3-blade Classic, 70mm, Sea Shield Max Prop with a recently renewed PSS Dripless Shaft Seal and Cutlass Bearing (Duramax Marine Bird, 1 1/4" X 1 3/4" X 5"). Speed under power is 8 knots (at current adjustable prop pitch). Her sails consist of, Main: 337 sq. ft. w/ 2 reef pts. (Good) w/stack-pack, Jib: 345 sq. ft. (Vry Gd) on a Harken Roller Furling, Mizzen: 173 sq. ft. w/ 2 reef pts. (Good) w/ stack-pack. Steerage is achieved by a 32" teak helm, chain to cable to quadrant, with Raymarine Type 1 linear drive Auto Pilot....
