Hi guys, Yacht has been sold. My future ex wife to be is giving me pressure to sell my beloved boat. open to offers for either. Much loved Farr 30 IOR design recently brought back to near original condition, all the major work has been done. 4 owners since new indicates when you have it you want to keep it. Very well known club racer Vitamin C currently cared for at RMYS St Kilda but with a long history at Wlliamstown. Well campaigned club racer with plenty of wins, previously raced offshore but now being enjoyed as a brilliant around the cans club racer. Originally built in by Alpha Marine New Zealand to the IOR rules to win the Melbourne to Devonport Ocean Yacht Race (she has at least 7 ocean races across Bass Strait under her belt). Includes stainless steel water tank, hand pump sink and basin, new butane single burner stove, porta potty, stainless steel fuel tank, pipe cots and re-covered cushions. Can sleep up to 5 in current configuration. In 2020 the boat has been completely re-rigged with all standing rigging replaced, most running rigging replaced with 8-10mm Dyneema, hull repainted to the original 1979 Vitamin C (Air, Sea Rescue) Orange, interior painted off white. Rewired including installation of new LED interrior lights, new fuse box and charging station, Masthead light replaced and new wiring in mast, New Windex, New lifelines, Removed all antifoul back to glass then undercoated with 2 pack undercoat and 3 layers of new antifoul. Cushions re-covered with automotive grade heavy duty vinyl ($1000ea). Main re-battened. New Electric bilge pump, twin batteries House/Start. Motor had a complete rebuild in 2011 and has recently been serviced with the water pump being replaced in 2021 and new rudder bearing 2020. (We have spent over $20k and countless hours on her bringing her back to her former glory) Length 30ft - 9.14 meters Beam 3.053 meters Displacement 2783Kg Material GRP Lead Fin Keel Draft 1.589 meters Arona (Lambertini) inboard rebuilt 2011 Serviced 2020 including new water pump 2021 Folding prop treated with Propspeed 2020 2020 Out of water survey Sail Inventory: Main Good Condition #1 Genoa Good Condition #2 Genoa Good Condition #3 Genoa Good Condition #4 Genoa Good Condition Storm Genoa Spinnaker 1 Good Condition Spinnaker 2 Good Condition Spinnaker 3 Good Condition Blooper Have photos of all sails Boat has everything to make it go fast and is ready to race or would be a great bay cruiser/weekender. Reason for selling is I have reduced my fleet from 3 boats but still have 1 boat to many. The other boat potentially for sale is a Herreshoff 46 but is still a work in progress. Happy to sell either/both.
