English The Crealock 44, "The Evolution of the Breed", as Mr. Crealock puts it, shows some significant design modifications, giving the 44 uncommon balance in a yacht of this size. The lines are more powerful than earlier designs. There is slightly less overhang and a longer waterline. She is a fast boat.Below decks, artistry and experience at sea are combined to create a livable interior thoughtfully arranged to provide privacy and comfort for two couples. Aft, the master stateroom with adjoining head and separate stall-shower, provides quarters for two. A large J-shaped galley, convenient to both the cockpit and the main salon makes it possible for two people to prepare meals together.Beyond the main salon, the forward stateroom welcomes you to rest or simply escape in quiet to the comfortable lounging seat. Large hanging lockers and a dresser oppose the forward head compartment and shower. More storage for personal gear is found above the forward double berth.In the Crealock 44 we have been able to meet every one of our objectives for comfort, privacy and storage while remaining true to our philosophy of designing a hull for its sailing and seakeeping qualities. Construction Hand laminated with vinylester resins in hull for superior blister resistance (10 year osmosis warranty) Hull reinforced with structural E-glass for added stiffness and impact resistance Standard hull molded in Premium ISO-NPG gel coats, standard color is Oyster White. Contrasting boot and sheer stripes; teak rubbing strake. Hull and deck connection flanges bedded in polyurethane adhesive and fastened with stainless thru-bolts Deck has molded in contrasting non-skid pattern; molded in bulwarks for added safety Stainless steel chain plates and backing plates are double caulked and thru-bolted to hull sides Rudder supported by high strength manganese bronze gudgeon. Steel reinforced skeg Ballast – External one-piece lead casting with 1 inch stainless steel keel bolts. Keel to hull joint bedded in epoxy Interior – custom interior layout included, and built to owners specifications Deck Equipment 2 Harken™ #60.2 two speed self-tailing primary winches, 3 Harken™ #40.2 two speed self-tailing halyard / utility winches, 1 Harken™ #46.2 two speed self-tailing mainsheet winch, Harken™ deck organizers and foot blocks Two stainless steel 12” bow mooring cleats with oval hawse pipes; two 10” spring cleats amidships Two stainless steel 10” stern mooring cleats with chocks One stainless steel anchor deck pipe on foredeck and one aft for stern anchor All stainless steel hinges, hasps, deck fills, etc. All cleats, winches, turning blocks, pulpits, and stanchions have backing plates double-caulked with polyurethane Six teak handrails on cabin house.
