The Gib'Sea 96 is a sailboat designed by the French maritime architect Michel Joubert together with Bernard Nivelt also from France. The Gib'Sea 96 was built by the French yard Gibert Marine. She has three cabins and one WC with a shower. She is a spacious boat giving 6 berths. Good extensive equipment list. This example of this popular cruising yacht is in good condition when we take into consideration her age. The hull is made of fiberglass. Generally, a hull made of fiberglass requires only a minimum of maintenance during the sailing season. And outside the sailing season, just bottom cleaning and perhaps anti-fouling painting once a year - a few hours of work, that's all. The last bottom paint (Sea Jet 34) has been done in June 2023. There is no osmosis on the hull. There is no reported damage such as a tornado, storm, crash, and/or grounding on board. The current owner bought the boat in May 2022 and made lots of upgrades. Arch, Solar panels, Solar regulator, Victron inverter, Linux Lithium batteries, DC&AC panel, Holding tank, Beds, Bimini, Bimini shades, Sun tent, Cockpit cushions, Ceiling Upholstery fabrics, broadside upholstery fabrics, Chart plotter, Fishfinder, Wind speed&direction instrument, Victron battery monitor, Battery isolator, Cachoral Barbecue and table, Teak swim platforms, Rain shower, Windlass, Galvanized chain, Anchor roller, Aditional electrical bilge&shower pump, Led lights, Fenders and a new shaft for the engine are installed brand new. Also, a deck washing system and a mooring rope wheel were added to the inventory in December 2023. The hull was painted orange in June 2023. The anti-slip surfaces on the deck were renewed at the same date. The teak bumper all around the boat was renewed. The standing rigging was checked. Some of the turnbuckles are renewed. The moving rigging (all of the ropes) is renewed. Sea-jet 34 antifouling paint was applied to the bottom at the same date. The sails are in good condition. There are two Genoa sails, one classic main sail with 3 reefs, two staysails (slightly used), and one asymmetric spinnaker with a sock. The boat has a Monitor wind wane steering system which is more efficient than the other wind steering systems. There are three wind vanes for the system. The smaller one is used in heavy weather while the big one is used up to 20 knots wind speed. There is an auto-course mechanism on the system. The course of the bot can be easily arranged even if the wind direction changes. There are many spare parts of the Monitor steering system on board. The boat has a Volvo Penta MD-2003 engine. The engine has been overhauled in May 2022 in the workshop. It was spent approximately 5000€ for refitting the engine. The last service of the engine has been done in July 2023. Working in good order. The Wallas diesel heater has been serviced and relocated on board. The system is working in good order. There are three air outlets for the system. One of them is in the saloon and the others are located in aft cabins. The system can be used for air ventilation in summer times, too. When you take into consideration the newly installed Raymarine Autohelm Lineer Autopilot, the boat can be used easily single-handedly. The boat's operational costs are very low. She looks like a new boat. It is an unmissable opportunity boat for yachting beginners and/or small-size families. The boat is for sale from 3rd owner. The boat is in good condition and shape.
