Trawler cruising has never been this exciting with this rare beauty newly up for sale! Mainship's 400 Trawler was designed to take that cruising experience to a whole new level of comfort and convenience. The 400 represents Mainship's third generation of trawlers. It is the culmination of all the company's trawler-building experience and is a well-crafted, stylishly done and remarkably seaworthy boat. It has a full keel for maximum stability under way and powered by a single 240hp Yanmar diesel engine that makes her extremely economical. There's an impressive amount of useable space, both topside and below decks and to say she has an extremely roomy flybridge is a severe understatement and not often seen on a boat this size. The flybridge helm is positioned on the centerline with more than ample seating all around. All of the built-in seating can be put under cover with her bimini top providing full enclosure when wet weather or the scorching sun calls for it. A cozy built in round table with a pair of deck chairs provides an intimate setting for watching glorious sunsets. Coupled with a built-in fiberglass console that holds a sink, a huge dry bar area to prep your food and drinks next to a Magma gas barbeque, you're all set for an ultimate sailing experience. The extended deck space on the flybridge provides covering for the cockpit as well as the wide walk-around side decks, protecting both areas from all weather. The railings are also high for added security when seas are rough. There are also two anchor rollers for securing ground tackle to meet varying bottom conditions. The cockpit area is totally sheltered. Her unique saloon door features a stainless steel frame, holding three floor-to-ceiling French folding panels of tempered glass so once the panels are opened, the entire aft section of the saloon opens up to the cockpit, giving you 360 degrees of panoramic views. The saloon then opens to a full galley, located forward and to starboard, fully decked in glistening cherrywood and includes an oven and a three-burner range cooktop and double basin stainless steel sinks. There's also a microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, ice maker and a full-size refrigerator/freezer and a power ventilator. Along the port side of the saloon is a spacious sofa and a unique dinette that features an elevated platform with a comfy bench seat on one side and two bar stools on the other, which you can move at will to open up the saloon even further. This trawler has two staterooms and one head below deck. The master suite is located in the bow and has a pedestal queen-size berth and numerous windows at the sides and above to allow ample lighting to shine through. An opening overhead hatch with a retractable privacy panel screen welcomes cool sea breezes. There's generous storage in the stateroom as well, both under the berth and in wardrobes either side. The head is accessible from both the master suite and companionway which features an enclosed shower stall and vanity sink with storage below. The second stateroom offers twin berths that can be converted to a king with an optional filler cushion with lots of above head storage cabinets and a large stand alone wardrobe, decked in glossy cherrywood no doubt. An option worth considering is the space available for a washer/dryer unit that neatly hides under the companionway stairs. Berthing her is a breeze with a bow thruster, a great addition that just about any skipper will appreciate. She cruises beautifully at 8 knots with a top speed of 10 knots. With comfortable accommodations, well designed large windows throughout offering unprecedented views, a full galley, sheltered cockpit, moulded steps that lead to a breathtaking flybridge and an efficient single-engine performance, this trawler speaks volumes. in January, she was anti fouled with new air nodes replaced, had her hull fully inspected and a full survey done. Her engine was serviced and maintenance done in May. She is also SZH registered for up to 16 people, so is charter ready for everyone else to enjoy what she has to offer. The icing on the cake has to be the berth where she is currently located. Conveniently close to the entry/exit of the marina with unblocked breathtaking views, she is also a dream to host dockside parties or cosy tete a tete gatherings with friends and family.
